Dr. D’Lorah Butts-Lucas is a Christian Minister, advocate for people in distressed situations, and licensed attorney. Having traveled to four different continents, Dr. D’Lorah has had the opportunity to connect with and experience first-hand the triumphs, struggles, and diverse cultures of people around the world. Equipped for her calling in ministry and the law, Dr. D’Lorah received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law, Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in Human & Organizational Development and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Practical Theology at Regent University.
Dr. D’Lorah has been a licensed minister since 2001 and currently serves under the leadership of Dr. Clifton and Pastor Marcia Clarke at Restoration Christian Fellowship in Virginia Beach, VA. Beyond ministerial experience, Dr. D’Lorah’s professional career experience includes administration, supervision, and leadership roles in a private company, public school district, and private higher education institution. Her legal experience includes work in private law firm, the Florida State Court System, and now her own solo practice. Dr. D’Lorah believes that everyone experiences challenges in life and while obstacles may come in careers, education, family or a myriad of personal matters; the common theme throughout trials is the ability to triumph.
